Course Description:
This VMware-authorized, hands-on training course builds your skills in the VMware View suite of products: VMware VIEW Manager, VMware VIEW Composer, and VMware ThinApp. In this course, based on the VMware VIEW 5.0 and Thin App 4.6 releases, you will spend approximately 40% of your time performing 20 hands-on labs designed to reinforce classroom lectures.
Learning Objectives:
- Install and configure VMware View components
- Create and manage dedicated and floating desktop pools
- Deploy and manage linked-clone virtual desktops
- Configure and manage desktops that run in local mode
- Configure secure access to desktops through a public network
